This refund policy explains when you can get a refund from Shaw Advisory L.L.C-FZ (“Shaw Advisory”, “we”, “us”). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Our services are sold to businesses only.

Refund policy for monthly plans

• Monthly plans have a minimum term of 6 months, then continue month to month.
• Monthly fees are paid in advance and are not refundable once the billing month has started, because we reserve time and begin work for you straight away.
• After the minimum term you can cancel with 30 days’ written notice. We do not refund part-months.
• If you cancel during the minimum term, the remaining fees for the minimum term are still due and are not refunded.

When we will refund you

• Charged in error: if you are charged twice or charged the wrong amount, we will refund the difference in full.
• We cannot start: if we cancel your plan before any work begins, we will refund the full amount you paid for that month.
• We end the agreement early: if we end the agreement for our own reasons (not because of a breach or non-payment by you), we will refund any fees paid for days after the end date.

Refund policy for one-off projects

For one-off projects such as a website build, the deposit is not refundable once work has started. Later stage payments are due as set out in your proposal. If a project is cancelled part way through, you pay for the work completed up to that point.

What is never refundable

• Advertising spend. This is paid by you directly to the ad platforms and any refund is a matter between you and that platform.
• Third-party costs we have already paid on your behalf with your approval, such as software, domains or stock images.

How to ask for a refund

Email info@shawadvisory.co with your business name, the date of the payment and the reason. We reply within 5 working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually arrive within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
